The Maldives is famous for its marine diversity and especially for its whale-sharks, which average well over 20 feet in length. The most beautiful sites are nearby and the boat journey makes diving trips even more enjoyable. Guests set out in dhonis, a traditional Maldivian form of boat, an experience in itself.

Feeding rays in the lagoon around the hotel is also one of the Resorts special attractions. The sea is never closer than in the exclusive Water Villas, standing on stilts over the lagoon. You can simply slip from your own private deck into the water.

The island is 25 minutes from Malé by seaplane.

Deluxe rooms
There are 36 deluxe rooms which are 65m2 the same size as the
Junior suites. They are situated on the east part of the island. Each deluxe room has a bedroom, a bathroom, a terrace with an
outside shower. Bathrooms have a bath and separate shower, as well as separated toilet. They are all inter connecting making them ideal for families or groups of friends. 18 rooms have 2
twin beds and 18 rooms with double beds. These rooms can interconnect making them ideal for families.

Junior suites (65m2)
There are 12 Junior Suites all surrounded by lush, tropical plants, the Junior suites look out to sea and face the sunset. Each Junior suite has a bedroom, a bathroom, a terrace with an outside shower.
Bathrooms have a bath and separate shower, as well as separated toilet.

Prestige water villas (98m2)
The prestige water villas are situated on the west side of the Island. Each villa has its own bath room open on the lagoon and a large terrace over the sea. The prestige water villas offer the same
facilities as the water villas.

Water villas (80m2)
There are 46 Water Villas. Wherever you are in any of the villas, the view is breathtaking. The bathroom in each of the villas has a bath, separate shower and separated toilet. These villas also have a furnished terrace looking out over the sea, with direct lagoon access from a small flight of steps.

Family Water Villas on stilts (129m2)
There are 3 family water villas situated on the east side of the island, each family water villa is composed of 2 interconnecting water villa.

Beach Villas (95m2)
There are 45 Beach Villas, with the same facilities as the Pool villas, except for the pool. Instead, these villas have larger gardens and a small area of private beach. They are locate on both sides of the island, so that guests can enjoy the sublime spectacle of sunrise or sunset.

Beach Pool Villas (116m2)
These 12 Villas all have direct beach access and an uninterrupted view of the lagoon. Each villa has a large bedroom and a bathroom that opens onto the private outdoor lush area, where there is an outdoor shower and a private pool. The bathrooms are fitted with a
bath, separate shower and toilet. The sitting room extends onto an individual terrace, creating a large living space. The villas also
have a delightful garden area on one side, with chaises longues on the wooden deck area that runs round the private pool, ideal for
relaxing, whilst the sea stretches into infinity on the other.

Presidential Villa (288 m2)
The presidential water villa offers a panoramic view of the lagoon. The villa has one en suite master bed room with a beautiful
bathroom with a shower and a bath. It also has one en suite Guest bedroom, a pantry, an infinity pool and a large terrace.

European savours with a touch of arabic influence waft through the air, inspired by North-African, Lebanese, Indian and Indian Ocean cuisines. Guests in the Water Villas have exclusive use of the restaurant for breakfast. Thereafter, it is open to all guests, serving salads, grills and seafood at lunchtime, with an a la carte dinner menu. The restaurant leads on to a terrace and an infinity pool, stretching as far as the sea. A lounge bar features a selection of cocktails, rums, liqueurs, beers and international brands of spirits, as well as a selection of famous teas.

NOO Restaurant - International cuisine (7 a.m to 10.30 a.m / 7 p.m to 10 p.m)

Noo (which means Blue in Maldivian) is a spectacular, shell-shaped restaurant, featuring international cuisine. The restaurant is by Diva Maldives central beach, serving breakfast, and dinner, with themed evenings.

IRU Bar - Champagne Bar (3.30 p.m to 2 a.m)

The brightly coloured circular bar, Iru, the local word for Sun, is also by the beach, facing the sea. Indeed, the terrace goes out to sea and is filled with sunset colour, for an unforgettable aperitif with a selection of finger snacks at the end of the afternoon.

VELI Pool Bar - Pool and Beach Bar (8.30 a.m to 6 p.m)

Veli means Sand in Dhiveli.
The bar adjoins the circular swimming pool that extends out to sea, looking out onto the crystal-clear lagoon on three sides. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Light Mediterranean-style snacks, such as Spanish tapas, mezze and antipasti are served in Véli throughout the day.

PURE - Japanese Modern Cuisine (7 p.m to 10 p.m)
Seats: 30
Standing on stilts over the water, Pure features Japanese-style open cooking. It has a sushi bar and a Tepaniaki table, where the Chef performs a live show, displaying all his skills as he prepares their dishes in front of the guests. The restaurant is open evenings only and tables should be reserved in advance.

EAST - South East Asian Restaurant
(7 a.m to 10.30 a.m / 12.30 p.m to 3 p.m / 7 p.m to 10 p.m)
Seats: 150
This is the resort's main restaurant, standing on stilts over the water, with a wonderful view out over the lagoon. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring, amongst others, Cambodian, Indonesian, Thai, Sri Lankan, Hong Kong and Chinese-style buffets.

SEASON - Beach Restaurant (10.30 a.m to 6 p.m)

The beach Bar & Restaurant is located next to the boathouse and opens only from 10.30am to 6pm. The menu is simple with beach barbecues, seafood brochettes, grills, salads and sandwiches.

ALLEGRIA - Italian Restaurant (7 p.m to 10 p.m)

Welcome to Diva's Italian restaurant for genuine and traditional Italian cuisine. The concept is again open-kitchen, with large glass windows through which you can see the kitchen staff at work. Allegria features Italian specialities for dinner only. Exclusive arrangements can also be made for small parties to dine in the setting of the wine cellar, in the heart of the restaurant, with a special menu. It is the chance to indulge in wine and cheese tasting and to learn more about wines and preparing Italian dishes.

Water Sports:
The reef area itself is full of colourful specimens, many peculiar to the region. Guests particularly enjoy the experience of seeing the rays being fed within the lagoon. The boathouse organises trips for snorkelling over the reefs, as well as catamaran excursions.

Windsurfing, rubber ring and banana rides, water-skiing, wakeboards, jet-skiing, pedal boats and kayaks are also all available.

The boathouse also arranges catamaran and windsurfing lessons, given by staff trained by the VDWS, the German watersports training centre.

Land-based Activities:
A wide variety of activities are available, including beach volley, table tennis, badminton, floodlit tennis courts, a gym, billiards, table football and games machines.

Evening entertainment with singers, guitarists and DJs.

Hotel Children Information
Kids Club:
Team members are available every day to look after children aged from 3 to 12, from 10 a.m to 10 p.m. A whole range of activities is organised for them, adapted to particular age groups, to make sure they too experience an unforgettable holiday. Children can have lunch at the kids club between 12.00 and 13.00 and dinner between 18.30 and 19.30. Children below 3 years old must be accompanied by a parent or a baby sitter. A baby-sitting service, for which a fee is charged, is also available.

Teens Club:
The Teens Club is a space where older youngsters can relax and have fun. The Club has a TV, DVD player and games machines.

Diving Information
Diving:
Two diving sessions are organised daily, with at least one monitor for 4 divers. The sites are about 1.5 km apart and the fauna includes tuna fish, barracudas, king fish, eagle rays, small white sharks and turtles. Dive sites include Maamagili, suitable for beginners, Aa Thila for the more experienced and Thinfushi Beru Tila for advanced divers. Even for those who have never dived before, Diva Resort & Spa is the perfect place. All the monitors are qualified to run courses from beginner up to PADI level and are trained in rescue techniques.

This spa must have one of the most unique settings in the world, where the wooden floors and fittings lend natural beauty to an airy and spacious location. Amber and blue-green shades of colour add to the atmosphere of tranquillity.

Beach Treatment Rooms
There are 11 spacious and opulent double Treatment Rooms on the beach, each with a terrace and a private garden area with an outdoor shower. There is a shower and separate toilet in each room and one of the rooms also has a whirlpool

Water Treatment Rooms
4 equally lavishly furnished and large double Treatment Rooms stand on stilts jutting out over the lagoon. They all have terraces over the water with outdoor showers and lounges. Inside each room is a steam shower and separate toilet and one of the rooms also has a whirlpool. A special feature for guests here is in the water treatment rooms; you can watch fish swimming in the lagoon below, through a section of glass flooring while enjoying your massage. Treatments include massage and a wide range of body treatments.
